   Thanks for that Zwei, I can almost see Mum travelling to her wartime office job (though surely she took the Bakerloo from Willesden Green) I remember dad driving aimlessly around south London in ’71, as Mum was convinced that we were on the wrong road as there were no tram wires/tracks)

   Sad ending to the video. Not unlike similar video I’ve seen of the burning of Vancouver’s 1890s era street car fleet under the Burrard Bridge in the early 50s.
